Millet pillows vs. buckwheat: Like buckwheat hulls, millet hulls are the outer part of a grain that must be removed in order for people to eat the grain. Millet hulls are round, move easier,
and are softer than buckwheat. Buckwheat hulls are triangular and stay put better than millet hulls but they’re HARD and CRUNCHY. Therefore they’re great for sitting cushions and back supports – but NOT sleeping pillows! Millet hull pillows are much softer and more comfortable for sleeping. Your face is sensitive and accordingly needs softness! Organic millet pillows are soft yet firm at the same time and don’t make crunchy noises like buckwheat! For MOST people millet hulls are far more comfortable! Buckwheat hulls hurt my ears! Therefore, I only make and sell millet pillows.
