Shindig Massage Tool!

(5 customer reviews)

Original price was: $50.00.Current price is: $40.00.

The Shindig massage tool is the best at massaging the lower leg muscles!  It’s kind of like a draw knife for the body.  It’s a tool with lots of tools built into it.  The middle area has several different surfaces and “blades” carved into it so that you can use the one that works and feels best for your body.  Each of these tools is hand carved one at a time by a woodworker using a draw knife and rasp.  Then they are hand finished using shellac & traditional French polishing.  Each tool is a totally unique work of practical & usable art!

I received my shindig tool a couple of months ago. I lift a lot at my business and I also enjoy walking for pleasure and exercise. My feet, ankles, shins, knees and hamstrings are tight a lot because of it. I use the tool on my shins and also my upper legs (front and back) above the knee. It feels great, that’s what I can tell you! Using this tool along with some of the others like the foot friend makes an awesome combination and it is fun to use as well. Thank you Brett!

The Shindig started out as just a simple dowel. Then I learned about Gua Sha tools and decided to create some edges of different aggressiveness. Glad you like it!

Brett, I love this tool, love everything about it. My husband loves when I use it on his legs so much. The different edges along the length are very effective and the smooth finish is masterful. So well made. My favorite way to use it is on my neck and shoulders with the tapered end. You may not have intended that being the use when you made it but it can eliminate tightness so well as that end can grab and then glide so smoothly. And it’s so light! So glad I bought this. Thank you Brett

Thanks so much Karen! I tried having a woodworker make them for a while… no good! lol. It has to be me making them cuz I understand massage. I hope you get many years of use from it. Happy massaging!

I DIG THE SHINDIG! This is a great massage tool that I use to help loosen up tight muscles in my legs and thighs. After I use the shindig, my legs and thighs feel great and have better circulation. Thanks Brett:)

THat’s great Angel. I’ve perfected the cuts and sanding on these and I need to make myself an updated one. Enjoy.

I recently purchased a Shindig massage tool for my Reflexology practice. The quality of wood, finish, and hand-craftsmanship of this tool is impeccable and its performance exceeds my expectations. I showed this tool to one of my massage therapists and they were impressed with the way it helped soften the tissue, released the fascia, and provided excellent circulatory stimulation and lymphatic drainage. I recently saw one of the Cleveland Indians baseball players using a similar tool for warm-ups before taking the field. I use this tool primarily to support relieving foot pain and discomfort from plantar fasciitis, a tight achilles tendon, or over-pronation. It is worth its weight in gold.

      Thank you Brandon.
